Start on a kayak adventure from the landing point in Franklinton – where Columbus was first settled. We’ll give you a glimpse of what it was like throughout history along the banks of the Scioto while enjoying a leisurely stroll down to the Scioto Mile Audubon Park. We’ll then hop on a bike and take a tour of historic German Village –the nation’s 1st nationally registered neighborhood - and the Brewery District – home to the famous Hoster Brewing Company. We’ll continue on through downtown and end the ride back at the landing point. Duration – Approximately 2.5 - 3 hours, 5.3 miles.
Start on a bike adventure from the office at 92 N. Front Street. We will tour downtown Columbus, the Short North, and Franklinton with a focus on how the City has been transformed to be one of the hottest places to live in the Midwest. We’ll then continue our adventure via kayak starting in Franklinton- another up and coming hip neighborhood. Hop in a kayak and paddle along the Scioto to hear about the incredible revitalization of the river. Your stroll down the river will end at Scioto Mile Audubon Park where we’ll have your bikes ready to ride back to the office while we enjoy the great vistas of downtown.
